Iglesia Luterana Cristo Rey

Iglesia Luterana Cristo Rey sponsors one to two full-time Border Servant Corps volunteers each year to serve on la frontera.

 

At Cristo Rey, the volunteers work with the After School Program / Summer Program, Border Immersion Program, and assist with a variety of ministries in the church and community.

 

Volunteers live with others who work in social service agencies on the border and focus on four tenets: simplicity, social justice, spirituality and community. The verse Micah 6:8 serves as the basis for their year of service.
